Certification of quality system according to the ISO 9001 standard

Having realized, that we must ensure the quality of our products and services through our business and production processes, we in ETI d.o.o. concluded a project and obtained the quality certificate according to ISO 9001 already in 1993, which we permanently improve. In the process of improvements, our constant task remains not only monitoring the demands, but also requirements and expectations of our strategic partners-clients, employees, suppliers, shareholders and wider community. In 1999 the second verification period expired, this is why we decided to include in the recertification process along ETI d.o.o. also the Toolshop unit (PIE OR) as an important business unit in our company, which has undergone an important functional reorganization. The main purpose was to adapt the internal organization to achieve better efficiency and results. In 2009 all production units of ETI concern had undergone the recertification process according to the new standard 9001:2008.

New achievment in the environmental management system

Being awarded the ISO 14001 certificate, demands from us to continuously strive to improve our behaviour towards environment. Being able to identify and evaluate key problems is the basic step towards the development of an efficient environmental management system, and an obligation under ISO 14001 standard.

In 2001 we reconstructed the oil collection system for machine parts washing and condensate collection for the compressor station in order to improve the protection of the waterways.

Automotive industry’s international standards for quality management IATF 16494

One of the automotive industry’s most widely used international standards for quality management, ISO/TS 16949, is evolving with the publication of a new global industry standard by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). This latest version was developed with an unprecedented level of industry feedback and engagement by AIAG members representing North America.

ISO/TS 16949, a technical specification for automotive sector quality management systems, has become one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry, harmonizing the different assessment and certification systems in the global automotive supply chain.

On October 3rd, 2016 IATF 16949:2016 was published by the IATF and supersedes and replaces the current ISO/TS 16949, defining the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry.

ETI d.d. Business Excellence Award Winner (PRSPO 2003)

The Award of Republic of Slovenia for Business Excellence (PRSPO) is the highest recognition by the State for achievements of organizations in implementing systems for modern, effective and complete reaching of products and services quality, and of the business operation quality as a result of the knowledge and development of innovativeness.

The Award emphasizes the comprehension that only through orientation towards the products and services quality, and above all the quality of relations between manufacturers, suppliers and users, and through proper management the prosperity of all the company's employees as well as a complete integration into the European streams can be achieved. Only through a co-operation of each and every individual, and through an organized teamwork a continuous improvement of quality can be achieved. The company ETI d.d. was actively involved in the project of business excellence with self-evaluation procedure from the year 1999 on. The feedback information: points achieved, descriptions of advantages and improvement opportunities have been used as an appropriate measure for establishing to what degree any of the company vision points has been reached, for which we have committed ourselves to achieve results comparable with the European ones.

As early as a year ago we were awarded the Diploma of finalist in the category of organizations with more than 250 employees in the area of manufactured goods. And this year for the PRSPO 2003 contest we were awarded, in addition to the Finalist Diploma, also the Award of Republic of Slovenia for Business Excellence, as an organization that in the year 2003 evaluation achieved the maximum number of points in its category, thus ranking to the top of business excellence in Slovenian area.
The solemn granting has taken place on the 03.03.2004, in the large hall of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Ljubljana. The Finalist Diploma was delivered to the President of the Board of ETI d.d. Mr Jožef Smrkolj by the Minister of Economy Dr Tea Petrin, and the Business Excellence Award for the year 2003 by the Prime Minister Mr Anton Rop, M.Sc.

Certificate of high credit rating excellence Bisnode 2020

Credit worthiness certificate demonstrate that ETI belongs to the top Slovene companies that are allowed to use status AAA as a symbol of high Credit Rating Excellence. Among more 167 thousand of registered companies in Slovenia, only 11.440 companies achieved high credit worthiness.

The assessment of the credit rating excellence by the credit rating agency is based on different criteria for assessing the company's credit rating over a longer period of time and the present period. Thus, the criteria include payment and creditworthiness, indebtedness, profitability and other criteria of business risk with the company. The highest rating of credit excellence thus represents the most reliable, credible and low-risk company for cooperation with business partners - suppliers, customers, insurance companies, banks and other business partners.
